Funeral services for Don J. Hickman, age 74, of Attica, a prominent farmer and land owner, who died Thursday, July 5, at 9:15 a. m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, July 7, at the DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica. The Rev. Charles Sites officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Hickman was born June 12, 1888 in Warren County, a son of John Riley and Sarah Elizabeth Farmer Hickman. He was married June 27, 1908, at Williamsport to Mary E. Allen, who survives. Mr. Hickman had been a hospital patient six days following a 10-year illness. Other survivors include a son, Allen of Wingate Rt. 1; a brother, Lee of Frankfort; and three grandchildren. --typed by Walt W
